What to Expect When You Come to PATH for Support

At PATH, we are here to help you find the support and resources you need.

When you reach out to us:
1. Compassionate Listening: Our team will take the time to understand your situation in a judgment-free, confidential environment.
2. Personalized Assistance: We will work with you to identify your needs and connect you to the appropriate resources, such as housing assistance, food, utility support, healthcare, counseling, or other services.
3. Collaborative Problem-Solving: If your challenges require creative solutions, we will help you explore your options and develop a plan to move forward.
4. Guidance Through the Process: Whether it is filling out forms, navigating community resources, or following up on referrals, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible while ensuring you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take the next steps.

McLean County Homelessness Services 

PATH provides the following services for people experiencing homelessness in McLean County:

  • Engages with people experiencing homelessness to provide immediate support and intervention (e.g., helping people get into an emergency shelter for increased stability).
  • Provides blankets, coats, gloves, backpacks, sleeping bags, and hygiene kits to those sleeping in places not meant for human habitation.
  • Helps people get IDs, Birth Certificates, prescription assistance, transportation assistance, work clothes, and relocation to other cities or shelters when necessary.
  • Actively connects those experiencing homelessness to services they qualify for.
